Monica, is a native Texan. She attended the University of North Texas for undergrad and Baylor for graduate school. Monica moved to the sunshine state in 2004 and let’s just say, her heart’s divided.

We understand families are busy, so we offer teletherapy, preschool and homeschool co-op appointments as needed.
We are committed to educating and spreading awareness of the benefits of speech pathology through community outreach programs.
Services Provided
Initial consultations
These 15-20 minute screenings allow us to determine if a more thorough evaluation would be beneficial for your child.
Evaluation
An evaluation is the first step in the process to obtaining therapy. We use a combination of parent interview, clinical observation, as well as formal and informal testing to determine the type of delay that is present and set individualized goals accordingly.
Speech and Language Therapy
We help children who are having difficulty communicating. Whether it is due to a limited number of spoken words, frustration surrounding communication or difficulty being understood, we can help!
Feeding Therapy
Is your child having trouble gaining weight or a picky eater? Are mealtimes difficult? They may be a candidate for feeding therapy.
Executive Function Therapy
Is your child or teen having trouble in school? Are you concerned with how they will navigate high school or college? Do they get frustrated with tasks that you feel should be easy? Further evaluation of their executive function skills may be beneficial.
Parent Coaching
Parent involvement is a fundamental part of your child’s progress. Coaching allows us to provide additional resources and ideas to address your child’s goals in your home. This may be conducted individually or in a small group format.

How soon can I be seen for an evaluation or therapy?
Currently, there is not a waiting list. Immediate openings are available.
In person appointments are available Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00 am – 1:30 pm and teletherapy appointments Mondays 9:00am -1:30 pm
What forms of payment are accepted?
- Currently, Ladybug Speech Therapy only accepts private pay options. By accepting private pay, we do not require referrals or prior authorizations.
- Ladybug Speech Therapy is an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) vendor.
- Ladybug Speech Therapy can provide a Superbill which would allow a client to seek reimbursement of services through insurance benefits. The family would be required to verify with their insurance company if this is an option.
- Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted methods of payment include: Cash, check and online payment

From the owner
I was inspired to enter the field by my uncle, Frankie, who had Down Syndrome. Although, he passed in 2014 at the age of 60, his infectious zest for life lives on in those he knew.
